I do not know what his 'values' are, and none of us know a great deal about him but there isnt a shred of evidence that he was 'racist'.
His own mixed race half brother with whom he got on well defended him against this attack by the media.

The truth is it SUITS Bremain extremists to label him as 'racist' rather than accept that a working class person in the North of England had developed a violent hatred for a Labour MP who he perceived as not acting in his interests. He had probably voted for her!

What divisive language is that rose? Do I constantly talk about immigrants, or refugees , or tell you that you get over excited when talking about an African neighbour, or constantly mention people of colour (what!!!!!) - I could go on. a) Many actual dictators have been granted a state visit
b) The relationship with the USA is and always has been vital to the national interest. It displays an extraordinary disregard, or ignorance of this fact of the realpolitiK.

In your case Jess, as youre a declared political activist, I doubt its a matter of ignorance of what you are doing.
