As a Scottish Scot, I heartily disagree with the "English Scots for yes". Like the majority of Scots, I say NO, although I didn't get the chance to vote in 2014 because I happened to be living in another part of our country.
I agree with Sadiq Khan, the SNP has much in common with UKIP, Trump, the French Front National and other nationalist parties. Although the SNP is not overtly racist, it operates in the same way by fostering a sense of greivance, dividing people into "them" and "us" and blaming "them" for everything that goes wrong. It gains votes by emotional manipulation at the expense of any logic.
Anyone who seriously thinks that the Indyref did not foster hatred has only got to look at the comments columns of any Scottish newspaper.
It makes little sense to want Scotland to remain in the EU which accounts for a far smaller proportion of Scotland's trade and at the same time want to separate from the UK.
