A Labour Government.

I am seriously getting worried, that that joke Corbyn might end up running he country, which will within months, put a new social policy in place to be paid for by the ones that work, and on their knees knees already, borrowing money, left right and centre, so that llike every labour government in history leave us in massive debts that will increase until, once again the country votes conservative to sort it all out. I probably won't be here it see that happen. I notuce the frugal life style Blair had, an example to all labour voters. He and his very rich family did very well out of it, pity the country didn't, particularly those youngsters sent to Iraq.

Whilst we look at your links Im not particularly sure about "your" personal views. It would be great to hear them.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:59:13

What are your views on immigrations jen? do you have any? or do you think that free movement is a good idea for the working class?

MaizieD Mon 05-Jun-17 22:58:39

It was a very stupid question. What on earth does a reporter think a politician is doing travelling around the country and talking to people during an election campaign? It's a pretty normal thing for politicians to do...Or it certainly used to be...

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:57:02

Whats the Labour thinking on this? Is it all for one and one for all? Or are you a bit flip floppy?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:55:06

I don't doubt that you put UK Jen, how to do feel about the Scottish referendum? Do you think that they should have had one?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:52:29

Have you always liked Corbyn jen? Have you always supported him? I may be wrong but I don't think you have.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:49:58

It was a valid question. Maybe Corbyn couldn't comprehend it.

durhamjen Mon 05-Jun-17 22:49:32

Strangely enough, Maizie, I usually say I'm UK. Filling in forms on the internet is usually UK or United Kingdom.

durhamjen Mon 05-Jun-17 22:47:17

I just hope Corbyn's voice lasts. He was all over the North today, starting in Middlesborough, then Blyth, Consett, the North West. A busy man, meeting lots of people.
He was asked by a local interviewer what he was doing up here, and Corbyn looked at him as if he was stupid.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:45:36

I hope that May stays silent now as everyone is stating wrongly that she's I'll and uncomfortable in interview. I see the opposite, she's poised and won't be swayed.

However Corbyn is truly awful and deflecting.

MaizieD Mon 05-Jun-17 22:44:41

Nobody has ever stopped me saying I'm English, saak, wherever I have lived, so I really don't recognise the country you're describing. I'm sorry if you have had a different experience.

This could be her downfall.

GracesGranMK2 Mon 05-Jun-17 22:41:00

I think we may see some interesting interviews - if she gives any - over the next couple of days. She seemed to be well out of her comfort zone with people actually challenging her.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:40:03

Labour government did this.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:39:00

I never wanted the "multicultural" sticker. It doesn't work. Mass anything without gentle integration causes mass pockets of semitism. It's been proved now.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:36:38

Maize

A Country that can state they are English would be a start without the racist shouts would be a start.

I have lived a life for the last 10 years not being "allowed" to say Im English.

It's enough.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:32:47

A manifesto that states they need to listen to the normal folk now rather than a delusional promise works for me.

To state this is "playground" stuff just goes to show how out of touch you may be ginny.

MaizieD Mon 05-Jun-17 22:29:04

What do you mean by 'a country that is England' saak?

How do you think it could be achieved?

mostlyharmless Mon 05-Jun-17 22:26:39

The labour manifesto proposals have been fully costed unlike the Tory manifesto as orhers have said in this thread. The science of economics means that a small financial investment gives greater benefit to the economy (through the multiplier effect). Cuts and austerity create unintended consequences. (For example cutting PIP payments means disabled people are less independent so have to rely more on state benefits in the long term.) The right wing press do not understand basic principles of economics.

Ginny42 Mon 05-Jun-17 22:23:31

This thread has now deteriorated into insults to other members and unprovoked, very personal insults to the leader of the Labour Party. There's no point in trying to reason with you Saak when everyone else is deluded or makes your skin crawl and even in your opinion doesn't wash. This is playground talk and doesn't belong on a Forum for adults.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 22:20:51

Changed their minds?
Flip flop, flip flop.

durhamjen Mon 05-Jun-17 22:20:24

That's what I thought, GracesGran.
May's doing her best to help him, of course.
