I agree Smileless with your post, Father Christmas (Corbyn) offering everything your kids could wish for but the poor parents having to pay for it all. He's offering anything and everything just to get a vote with no thought how to pay for it all, of course the short sighted and benefit grabbers will fall for it. Plenty of benefits as long as they don't have to pay and no thought for the bigger picture.

Although winning this election from the point it started seems unlikely in the extreme we can hope to narrow the majority so May cannot get some of her more extreme and cruel policies through.

Yes, Labour ran a good campaign, Conservatives ran a poor one, Labour promised everything in their manifesto and the Conservatives promised nothing (much) and if the Conservatives still win the GE what does that tell you?
It tells me, that although the Conservatives and T May are not that popular and their manifesto is disappointing ( no give aways) the general public trust Corbyn and his cabinet so little that no matter what he says and promises, it is not believed, and furthermore they see him as a weak leader and not PM material.
Therefore surely no Labour supporter would want to see him still in office until another GE.

If JC makes a sizeable inroad into TM's earlier lead I definitely think he should continue as leader. It would have been very easy for labour to 'give up', but instead they came out fighting which is a great credit to his leadership and to other LP mp's who rallied behind the party to give it their best shot (unlike some people on GN).

It would certainly be interesting if departmental error was about the same as the fraud Jen; that was certainly the fraud figure. I expect they work just as hard as they do getting rid of the errors as they do with the fraud but really neither figure would make me think it is the biggest problem we have.

Did you hear Corbyn say that the manifesto is a collective manifesto, not just his, although Paxman tried to make it that way?

If she loses, it will be all her doing, as she claims it is her manifesto.
