I am seriously getting worried, that that joke Corbyn might end up running he country, which will within months, put a new social policy in place to be paid for by the ones that work, and on their knees knees already, borrowing money, left right and centre, so that llike every labour government in history leave us in massive debts that will increase until, once again the country votes conservative to sort it all out. I probably won't be here it see that happen. I notuce the frugal life style Blair had, an example to all labour voters. He and his very rich family did very well out of it, pity the country didn't, particularly those youngsters sent to Iraq.

An influx of labour at my level and beyond has made this happened and OH, wasn't that under your party? Slave labour is in abundance and oh, wasn't that allowed under your party? Wasn't that "new" labour and everyone that objected seen as being racist? Tony Blair is working class and so is Corbyn? very strange.

Any other government would have done the same.

And been accused, falsely, of crashing the economy?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:35:09

Stop the tories doing what exactly?

Tell me what in their manifesto is so bad? If people can pay for their old age why shouldn't they?

I watched the Labour party political broadcast tonight and I thought it was very persuasive.

I am a Liberal Democrat. I believe the Liberal Democrats have the best policies but if I lived in a constituency which was clearly a Tory/ Labour marginal I would definitely vote for the Labour Party.

I hope that the Labour Party will endorse PR so we can all vote for the party we believe in but until that happens we have to vote tactically. I like some of the Labour policies, but not all. I think Corbyn would be a better leader in the brexit negotiations, although I was so disappointed that he put a three line whip on his MPs to vote for Article 50.

In this election, more than any other, we have to vote for the lesser of two evils, I am lucky that I can vote LibDem (and have already voted) but our crazy system does not allow everyone to vote for the party they believe in so vote for the candidate best placed to stop the Tories.

Labour is a pathetic shambles.
Out of this then in 5 years there may be another party, not now.

MaizieD Mon 05-Jun-17 20:29:36

How many times does it have to be said that the problem in 2007 was created by the banks and that without prompt action by the Labour Chancellor to keep the banks afloat the economy would have gone into melt down. You'd have all found your bank accounts empty.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:29:27

I don't care what you say about things.

I want brexit and the government to do this is tory at the moment.

Labour are a shambles. They're bloody embarrassing.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:27:24

This is not a party I want to call my own nor am proud of at the moment. It pains me to say this but its true.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:25:21

Labour has 5 years to get their acts together and post brexit. Then i may believe in them again.

MaizieD Mon 05-Jun-17 20:25:17

saak

I think the problem is that, since Hillsborough, Liverpudlians have boycotted The Sun and have no regard for what it has to say.

Welshwife Mon 05-Jun-17 20:24:49

Kettle, pot and black comes to mind there SAAK! Have you seen the report about TM and her team and the Saudi and other Govts - £100K was the figure mentioned.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:23:43

Due to the damage created 10 years ago by this same government.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:22:56

Every single thing in the Labour manifesto is unreachable at the moment and sounds fantastic but he lives in lala land.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:21:52

*is

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:21:18

And how Tony Blair hasn't been held to account ins beyond belief. The cronies he left after him ditto.

durhamjen Mon 05-Jun-17 20:20:41

Did anyone else see that video of Amber Rudd stopping a man from discussing the Tory connection to Saudi arms sales?
She passed a note to the chair of the meeting who then had the microphone taken away from the man talking.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:19:57

Absolutely not. The biggest threat to national security is the Labour government and the people who were previously in it.

durhamjen Mon 05-Jun-17 20:18:01

The biggest threat to our national security is the present government, particularly May who wants us to shut down discussion and debate online.

I'd really appreciate it if you just did a broad comment on your findings rather than another link.

durhamjen Mon 05-Jun-17 20:08:25

Tories have sent out leaflets to Liverpool featuring the Sun.

Anyone see the problem?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:01:27

It's about things as a "whole" not nit picking durham. The strongest party to get us through brexit is conservative. Like I said if things change and I have a party to be proud again i will surely vote for them.

durhamjen Mon 05-Jun-17 19:59:33

This Tory candidate said she was really pleased we have food banks!

More pressing things happening at the moment jen.

whitewave Mon 05-Jun-17 19:56:47

If you can watch the Labour Party Broadcast and still vote Tory than you have no heart or thought for our children's future.

durhamjen Mon 05-Jun-17 19:55:32

This woman is standing on a platform of stopping tax fraud, like all Tories.

She and her husband own 100% of the shares in a company to help people move their money off-shore.
