The result

gin yes but her majority is so small she won't be able to do anything

DUP and Tories combined will be a majority.

Corbyn on

May won't be able to do a thing with a zero majority.

Clegg very gracious in defeat.

Nick Clegg - polarised country. Huge gulf between old and young. Divisions are profound

I think Nicola Sturgeon should have concentrated more on wanting a soft brexit instead of wanting another referendum.

I know he was tired, but the young man who won in Sheffield Hallam didn't speak well.

When is Boris's sisters result due?

Perhaps he could be consulted

Not too surprised at swing away from SNP but am surprised that so many constituencies have gone to Tories.

Can we swap Nick for Boris?

Yes; his experience with regards the EU would have been invaluable....

I know; but I really liked Nick Clegg.

Nick Clegg lost as well, whichis a shame, as he would beneeded for Brexit.

Boris returned.

Sorry to see Clegg go.

E. Dunbartonshire back to Libdem. S. Perthshire goes Tory and 2nd recount in N Perthshire.

Lab gain!!!

Clegg lost.

Looks like Clegg has gone

Sorry 322.

Jack Dromey back; good, as it was thought he might lose his seat.

If Labour have won in Shipley, that is wonderful news (my DD2's constituency and they will be so glad to see the back of Davies).

They said in a revised exit poll Tories 321 but they need 326.
