The exit pole predicting no overall majority.

whitewave Thu 08-Jun-17 23:27:47

Apparently the two declared have the highest level of postal votes in the country at 50% not sure if that is significant

GracesGranMK2 Thu 08-Jun-17 23:26:55

Lots of back-tracking re the exit pole on the BEEB. Could be 30/40 Con lead; could be 80/90. Floundering.

durhamjen Thu 08-Jun-17 23:26:18

I thought Newcastle voted remain, Ginny.

whitewave Thu 08-Jun-17 23:25:46

Sod

durhamjen Thu 08-Jun-17 23:25:28

We would all be losers if Mayhem had got what she wanted, Rigby.

Ginny42 Thu 08-Jun-17 23:24:45

Stop! Don't implode. Only two results in and those areas did vote for Brexit. That could have influenced the vote.

whitewave Thu 08-Jun-17 23:22:04

Euphoria wearing off sad oh please please please

Rigby46 Thu 08-Jun-17 23:19:52

Tomorrow! Cd be fun!

whitewave Thu 08-Jun-17 23:18:50

The first lot of votes are always more likely for Labour, so it isn't too clear what is happening at the moment and be quite late in the night before it becomes more obvious

durhamjen Thu 08-Jun-17 23:17:12

Conservative Home Tim Montgomerie saying that May worst PM since Eden!
He gave her up quickly. There've only been two results in.

whitewave Thu 08-Jun-17 23:17:02

The Tories are beginning to put the boot in at May

minesaprosecco Thu 08-Jun-17 23:16:42

Thanks, I've been trying to find out what the swing was. Still all to play for then.

Tegan2 Thu 08-Jun-17 23:11:49

No; bit worrying....

GracesGranMK2 Thu 08-Jun-17 23:11:17

It still looks like being a long night.

whitewave Thu 08-Jun-17 23:10:46

Not such a high swing as it should be prosecco. They need 7% Newcastle only 2%

minesaprosecco Thu 08-Jun-17 23:07:33

For, not fit.

whitewave Thu 08-Jun-17 23:07:18

Yessssss

minesaprosecco Thu 08-Jun-17 23:06:43

What have I missed, why isn't it so good fit labour? I can't watch the tv out here in the middle of nowhere so am relying on GN and online news for info.

mcem Thu 08-Jun-17 23:06:01

Predicting that possibly 4 SNP seats might return to Libdem. That's ok with me!

mostlyharmless Thu 08-Jun-17 23:05:47

Amber Rudd's seat vulnerable. Who's going to be the next Tory leader? Or am I get ahead of myself...,,,

GracesGranMK2 Thu 08-Jun-17 23:05:25

The right direction of travel to follow the pole though apparently.

It's thought turnout is up over the country.

minesaprosecco Thu 08-Jun-17 23:04:15

Yes! No surprise there, but still...yes!

Ginny42 Thu 08-Jun-17 23:04:10

Hope that's a sign of the trend throughout the UK.
