Given that Justine Greening qualified as an accountant before entering politics, it doesn't give me much confidence in the accountancy profession! (Sorry, treading on toes?). I would recommend a grounding in local politics for prospective MPs. I hadn't a clue about budgeting when I joined the local council. After 8 years, when I retired, at least I understood that robbing Peter to pay Paul would be very easily seen through by the opposition and would come back to bite me in the not so very long run.

We are the second richest nation in Europe, but spend the least.

The richest in the U.K. Live on average 15 years longer than the poorest, and this comes of course with all the misery and ill health associated with poverty.

This slow down in the increase in life expectancy has only happened in the UK and started in 2010.

Give you 1 guess who forced the poor into greater poverty.

the problem is WW people are still voting for it, still believe in austerity ( as long as it doesn't hit them of course), still think that 'nice Mrs May' will sort it out, still think that Boris is a lovable chap....
