why not google it and find out?

To be fair Camden has had a week to make plans

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-17 21:50:31

Is Camden labour or Tory controlled council ?

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-17 21:49:45

Yet residents only found out from tv news.

durhamjen Fri 23-Jun-17 21:44:31

Goes back to 2012 change of law.

I rather think Camden will have made plans - it's not K&C after all

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-17 21:35:55

Seems at the centre they will be directed where to go, cabs are waiting to drive them to families, if they have families.

Lillie Fri 23-Jun-17 21:26:17

How stressful for the residents.

Elegran Fri 23-Jun-17 21:18:44

Perhaps at the community centre they will get more information and be directed to somewhere else? It may be a central clearing point, not a place to stay.

Ana Fri 23-Jun-17 21:13:49

Still - they're supposed to all fit into the community centre? confused

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-17 21:10:34

They said 800 households Ana , they will be out two to four weeks not three to four as I first posted

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-17 21:09:02

A resident just said they were told it was because of gas pipes in the landing and they could expect to be out three to four weeks, she didn't know untill she saw it on the news

Ana Fri 23-Jun-17 21:08:36

What - 800 families?

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-17 21:06:03

A councillor just said they should go to the community centre

MaizieD Fri 23-Jun-17 21:02:35

Let's hope that, as it's not an emergency, Camden Council have made arrangements before they started moving people out.

I wonder if this will happen every time a council finds they have a high risk building. Who will foot the bill?

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-17 20:58:33

800 households , where will they sleep

Anniebach Fri 23-Jun-17 20:45:10

800 are being evacuated , cladding a fire risk
