It doesn't matter if it's a tradition. Abortion is legal in the UK and therefore if a UK citizen wants to/needs to take advantage of that particular operation then it should be available to her.
It used to be a tradition that a man would approach a male matchmaker to contact the parent's of a girl he wanted to marry. The matchmaker would talk to the girl's parents and if they were agreeable negotiations would begin with the groom's parents regarding the dowry. The girl didn't have much say in the matter. Once the dowry was agreed upon the couple got married.
