We can see Keir Starmer putting up a much more professional argument while the Brexit Bulldog has to reverse more and more from the lies told during the referendum.
The whole attitude of the Labour Party belies all we have been told by the newspaper Barons just wanting to ensure they stay rich. Quietly, behind the scenes, the LP are preparing for power. Just as they showed the work they had done with economic experts behind the scenes when it came to the election - particularly in comparison to the poor showing from the Tories economically - they are now working with a group of top ex civil servants* to prepare of government - I am not sure that even after all this time we could say the government is prepared.
No firecracker - if I was a Tory I would not rely on the LP to do your work for you. Indeed, it seems to me that the LP have heeded the words of Napoleon "Never interfere with your enemy when he is making a mistake.” and, to some extent, waiting until the Conservatives run out of rope.
