I am no fan of Toby Young, and decry his latest appointment, although I notice that his First in Politics, Philosophy and Economics is ignored by his critics. He could claim to have been a successful student at least, having taken full advantage of a university education after woeful results at school.

It is a great shame that there is not the same level of outrage about the appointment of the ignorant, illiterate Angela Rayner: "Lots of people have wrote to me about this, " as Shadow Secretary for Education.
