It's what commentators, economists and institutions have been saying for months and month and months. To cries of 'Project Fear', 'We knew it would be a bit hard for a while though that's not what the Leave campaigners said ', 'no-one can predict the future', etc. There was a Leaver's tweet in the thread about this report to the effect that 'it's only based on modelling', thus implying that it's worthless.

So I don't think that this is going to make any impression whatsoever on Leavers' conviction that cake and unicorns are just around the corner. They don't do rational thought and their contempt for expertise is as strong as ever...

So the terms prescribed by the EU, making it clear that the U.K. cannot walk away without being in breach of the December agreement. Terms make it clear that U.K. must comply with SM and CU without any power.

So this useless government has negotiated an agreement that ensures that we are powerless and locked into an agreement over which the EU has total control.

Last year we went to a party and met a lovely German couple who worked at a local university; had two children that had probably been born in this country. I've often thought about them over the past year. Last night I met the lady whose party it had been, and she told me that they are moving back to Germany as they no longer feel welcome here .
