That's what I thought when she announced her war on plastic waste. Why now?

Nigel Farage warming to second EU referendum

Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage says he is close to backing a second EU referendum to end the "whinging and whining" of anti-Brexit campaigners.

Mr Farage told Channel 5's The Wright Stuff a fresh vote could "kill off" the Remain campaign for a generation.

Being in the Customs Union is different from being in the single market though.
And "a" customs union means an individual agreement -more complicated and time consuming to sort out than staying in "the" Customs Union.

I think that it has to 'a' Customs Union, individually negotiated, because we're not contemplating joining the EEA or EFTA (but I could be wrong); and our membership of the Customs Union ends on Exit Day.

Have you heard that Nigel Farage is now calling for a second EU referendum when the terms of the deal are known?

I imagine his friends in the Leave camp are apoplectic. Tony Blair is delighted.

Yes POGS this customs union thing is confusing. I too wish Corbyn's position was a bit clearer. It all sounds like Gobbledygook - you have to wade through treacle to make any sense out of it.
