Well, obviously it is beyond "the capacity" some on this forum to have any intelligent views on voice recognition and the advantages to modern Britain that such technology brings forward. Very many offices use that technology today to prevent repetitive strain injury (RSI) brought about by continual long hours use of a keyboard. Now, thankfully that chronic condition has rapidly become an injury of the past and is another leap forward for industrial safety in the workplace
In the above, I suppose the anti reaction of those not willing to engage in or see the health benefits in such technology should be expected, as there are in these times those people whose only wish is to become dinosaurs in a technology world unwilling to learn anything new.
It then always follows that such people are Dinosaurs in much of their other views, especially political with many following a party of now only seventy thousand members with an average age of seventy one.
In reality, that party could not now match the numbers at the Manchester United Old Trafford stadium on an average match day. (LOL)
So, now back to work using voice recognition to finish a report and that will be passed on to one of our Legal Secretary's who as always will without doubt edit it with voice recognition.
So I will leave you to your mouse and keyboards, dictaphone and Fax machines. However, thanks to all who posted in response to my post for giving me a good laugh over a coffee. I have circulated some your posts to other members of the office staff (especially the Lemongrove one on women doing all the work in the home) as I know they also will enjoy a good laugh.
Now, back to work.
