My DD has a much needed and long awaited hair appointment on Thursday grannyactivist (she will take the bus into town, sadly no stylist to come to her). She has the most crazy long curly hair that she wants to get into some order before the big push for the finish line.

Lovely news. Congratulations to them all!

Names? Charles perhaps? Michael? Arthur?

MawBroon Mon 23-Apr-18 13:12:21

I must remember to remind DD to book her stylist for leaving the hospital......

It’s a boy. I’m a bit disappointed.

MawBroon Mon 23-Apr-18 13:06:45

So it’s a boy!
Good weight, well done Kate!

Anniebach Mon 23-Apr-18 13:04:17

So doubt it will be Mary or Alice ?

Anniebach Mon 23-Apr-18 13:03:17

Can I be the only one getting weary over the hype surrounding the royal family these days..Ok I don't have to read about or watch but just how much is necessary.? I don't give a monkey's how much Meghan's dress coat or shoes cost. Why do we have to hear the Duchess of Cambridge is in labour. I am quite happy to wait until the notice appears on the gates of the palace, it's a boy / girl/ twins ?. How many times have we to be told what position the new arrival /s will be in regards to being in line? Are we so illiterate we can't work it out for ourselves. I could go on boring everyone but a text has shown my friend is arriving to take me out for lunch.

JenniferEccles Mon 23-Apr-18 12:31:53

Camilla grin

Sar53 Mon 23-Apr-18 12:31:41

I hope all goes well and my money is on Alice or Arthur.

Luckygirl Mon 23-Apr-18 12:31:18

Ooooh - I don't think so.

pollyperkins Mon 23-Apr-18 12:30:07

Camilla??!!

GillT57 Mon 23-Apr-18 12:26:13

I wish them well as I wish all potential parents well, but I really couldn't care less, sorry. And as for the press, and the breathless reporting, and all the bloody talking heads giving their opinions.....give me strength. I am off to the garden, more important things to worry about, like slugs on my new veg.

JenniferEccles Mon 23-Apr-18 11:58:49

Yes I like Eleanor too. Classy sounding.
I read a piece in a newspaper the other week, and according to the shape of Kate's bump it will be a boy, whereas Zara is expecting a girl.

All completely unscientific of course, but a bit of fun.

Luckygirl Mon 23-Apr-18 11:39:17

Eleanor is a nice regal sort of name.

Anniebach Mon 23-Apr-18 11:19:03

James favourite with the bookies followed by Arthur

And Mary followed by Alice

Horatia Mon 23-Apr-18 11:10:48

Alice/Alicia

gillybob Mon 23-Apr-18 11:06:54

Jeez I hope my DD doesn't go into labour today, I must ring her and tell her to keep her legs crossed for a while longer.

gillybob Mon 23-Apr-18 11:06:19

My money is on Mary (after saint Mary of Berry) she's virtually royal after all.

OR

Flip after great granddaddy. (Flip for short)
