How about Nigel?grin or Nigella....

nigglynellie Mon 23-Apr-18 10:45:46

Maybe Matilda? I love that name! Wicked king John?!! or tragic Prince John? I wouldn't think so BUT?!!

nigglynellie Mon 23-Apr-18 10:43:41

I don't think James! Catholic James 11nd , usurped by his daughter and sent into exile!!!! Perhaps not a good omen!!! Caroline? wife of George 1Vth?!! Not sure who was more awful, her or the king!! another dodgy omen!!!
I'm sticking with Alice (my granddaughter!) and Phillip!!! I bet I'm wrong!!! sunshine

If it goes anything like my third delivery, Kate will have been crossing her legs on the way in and the new baby will already be here. I hope so anyway.

Anniebach Mon 23-Apr-18 10:35:29

Charlotte is Elizabeth Diana

George is Alexander Louis

Maggiemaybe Mon 23-Apr-18 10:35:04

I've got real hard cash on John and Matilda. Long shots but hey, I couldn't resist 100 to 1. smile

More realistically, I fancy Mary or Arthur. I'd have said Frances, but it doesn't sit well with Princess.

Oldwoman70 Mon 23-Apr-18 10:31:21

I agree with POGS I think if it's a girl the name Elizabeth will be in there somewhere. If it's a boy then I don't think the first name will be Charles but could be one of the other names.

As with anyone about to have a baby I hope all goes well and the baby is healthy.

Luckygirl Mon 23-Apr-18 10:24:37

Mary is nice.

merlotgran Mon 23-Apr-18 10:23:27

I like Mary or Arthur.

Gerispringer Mon 23-Apr-18 10:18:18

I think it will be either a boy or a girl?
Alice or Arthur are the bookies favourites.

Anniebach Mon 23-Apr-18 10:17:11

Seems Mary is favourite with the bookies , according to the news

I am always astounded that people camp out outside the hospital awaiting a royal birth. confused

Rosina Mon 23-Apr-18 10:16:47

I'm guessing a boy with Philip in there somewhere- perhaps Charles Philip? I'm never right with these guesses so it will probably be a girl.

Luckygirl Mon 23-Apr-18 10:07:52

Tracy or Kyle I reckon.

dogsmother Mon 23-Apr-18 10:06:31

I’m with a boy, not sure of name...is Louis out of the question?

MawBroon Mon 23-Apr-18 10:05:38

Sorry POGS a bit slow today grin

MawBroon Mon 23-Apr-18 10:05:02

We already have Andrew’s Beatrice though don’t we?

POGS Mon 23-Apr-18 10:02:34

Ah but if it's a girl we could have our own Princess Beatrix which means 'blessed ' but for the 21st centuary ' A brexit'.

I think Kate and William are fairly traditional and if it's a little girl she will be Elizabeth , a boy Michael after her father.

Anniebach Mon 23-Apr-18 09:50:38

What about Caroline ? Kate's mum is Carol and there was a Queen Caroline

ninathenana Mon 23-Apr-18 09:50:05

glamma

Alice is very fashionable ? I had thought Victoria.
Arthur makes me think of Stacey's baby in 'Enders. Maybe James ?

kittylester Mon 23-Apr-18 09:46:56

Well, I'm backing Alice for a girl as one of our daughters has that name - it has been in both mine and Dh's family for generations. We already have an Albert George (Bertie) and a Charlotte (Lottie) so we are feeling quite royal.

nigglynellie Mon 23-Apr-18 09:46:26

Alice or Phillip, maybe Victoria or Alfred, Arthur or Mary? We shall know soon enough. grin

glammanana Mon 23-Apr-18 09:25:51

Annie I'm thinking maybe
Victoria or Alice for a baby girl
Arthur or Albert for a baby boy.
Not very fashionable names but certainly will be on the lists I think.

lemongrove Mon 23-Apr-18 09:21:03

Oh yes, she was a girl alright, Georgiana!

Anniebach Mon 23-Apr-18 09:18:47

There was a rather infamous Georgiana Spencer ,?
