And apparently
'Brits like him a lot' hmm

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:55:40

I wish someone would come and take a few shots at the wild boar.

Anniebach Thu 12-Jul-18 22:38:48

So it is Cherry, merlot

merlotgran Thu 12-Jul-18 22:36:28

Yes, 12th.

Cherrytree59 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:35:04

Think it's the 12th Anniesmile

Anniebach Thu 12-Jul-18 22:32:37

The glorious 10th

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:22:52

We were given a pheasant once which hung around for a while then when mum cooked it, it was full of shot.

Free range chicken I hope!

gillybob Thu 12-Jul-18 22:21:22

I’ve never had game of any kind .

gillybob Thu 12-Jul-18 22:17:57

Oh crikey I don’t eat pork or lamb . I do eat minced beef occasionally ( can’t get away with Quorn mince ) mainly I eat chicken and fish .

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:14:57

I'd rather eat a pheasant shot after a happy life than pork from a pig kept in a cage.

gillybob Thu 12-Jul-18 22:13:04

You haven’t offended me, I’m not a veggie . I eat meat ( very little, but I do eat it) . Killing an animal for sport is horrible .

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:07:49

sorry if you are vegetarian and I have offended you gillybob

gillybob Thu 12-Jul-18 22:07:33

Killing animals for sport is gross .

merlotgran Thu 12-Jul-18 22:07:07

Fear not. The shooting season doesn't start until September.

Grouse in August.

Anniebach Thu 12-Jul-18 22:05:43

Yes she has trained some herself Gilly

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:01:31

Useful for feeding all the dinner guests then.

gillybob Thu 12-Jul-18 21:07:59

Ideal for picking up the kills. hmm

Anniebach Thu 12-Jul-18 20:42:53

She will be off to Balmoral soon and she has Labs there

merlotgran Thu 12-Jul-18 20:32:26

It must feel strange for her not having them at her feet but there was always a danger she'd trip over them. I think the corgi that has just died was the one in the James Bond sketch for the London Olympics.

Anniebach Thu 12-Jul-18 20:27:35

She must be sad

merlotgran Thu 12-Jul-18 20:24:16

The Queen has decided not to have any more corgis because she has always bred them so won't be around for all of their life span. The oldest one has just died I think.

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 20:19:09

Yes, all the corgis and dorgis have gone to doggy heaven, not to be replaced.

'You're going to like this - not a lot' as Paul Daniels would have said.

Just watching Trump on tv, at Blenheim Palace, the combined regiments ( bands) are fantastic.
I hope someone plays a bum note.

lemongrove Thu 12-Jul-18 20:02:25

I didn’t know that all the corgis had gone to doggy heaven.
Aren’t they just replaced as they die?

gillybob Thu 12-Jul-18 19:04:44

I think I might kick a corgi that bit me on the ankle too.

Cherrytree59 Thu 12-Jul-18 19:00:47

Ooh Yes that sounds like plan.
He may be gone
some time!

Hope there is a
*Royal Air Fresh*?

Anniebach Thu 12-Jul-18 18:59:46

At the top Panache

Sue, if only
