Perhaps she has to make her points subtly - who knows what her Darling Husband would say behind closed doors if she made her views more overtly? He who always takes a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
Perhaps he just doesn't understand her.

I think she's a smart cookie too, and yes, she does seem to have very subtle ways of making her point.
Most people missed the significance of that raincoat and took it at face value.

In the beginning I never thought there would be more to her than meets the eye, but I could be wrong. She seems to have very subtle ways of making her point. So subtle that maybe we read more into them because otherwise she would appear to be even more far removed from normal people and their experiences than at first appears. Her husband would do well to pay attention to her.

Melania Trump yesterday warned about the “destructive and harmful” impact of using social media incorrectly – while her husband was busy settling scores with typically aggressive messages on Twitter.
America’s First Lady used a speech at a cyber-bullying prevention conference to stress the importance of teaching children about the “safe and responsible use of social media”. Yet as she was issuing the warning on the outskirts of Washington yesterday morning, Mr Trump was in another part of the city sending barbed tweets
