I am ' NOT ' in denial I said " There is no proof Theresa May's Speech made the situation worse, maybe it ' HAS ' maybe it has not.

I have certainly ' NOT' said anywhere on this thread or any other thread MP's are lying so please stop posting untruths.

Excellent well balanced post Day 6! The spite and bile of some Remainers is beyond belief. Their superiority complex is quite staggering.

Surprise, surprise! The left wing propaganda rags all agree that the great British public are all stupid and gullible! Time will tell who the stupid and gullible really are.

Posters have said some pretty nasty things about TM in the last few months, calling her a liar and a traitor and it has intensified in recent days. Posters have said all MPs lie; they are stupid; ignorant and think only of themselves. I disagree with blanket statements about such a large group of individuals.

However, judging from the way Mrs May has been behaving, especially with her 'speech to the nation' the other evening (I had actually thought she was going to resign!) I think she's showing signs of delusion. She sees herself as our saviour. The benevolent mother figure speaking to her children, patronising and silly.

She did not relate to me. She is not 'on my side'. She is not giving me and my family what we need. She doesn't give a sh1t about what's happening to ordinary families only conserving the wealth and lifestyle of herself and her cronies.

Wait a moment. She's had a meeting with BJ and told him she's not going anywhere and she will not step aside for him to take over now. Well done that woman!

I have a neighbour who is the mother of an MP, I know she has mixed feelings about her child being an MP - she is proud of their achievements, but now she is terrified for their safety and wishes they would go back to their previous job.

I have been pointing out the bullying / intimdation and harrasment MP's from ALL parties have been dealing with for 3 years plus on GN.

Sadly there has been a denial by many posters this was happening when it came to Anti-semitism and more so when it was known to come from within their own party. You are one of them.

Yes ab why else did she do so when everyone knew the danger MPs were in as POGS so helpfully outlined for us?

Mrs. May has been finished since the last GE, but Tory MPs have been happy for to remain in case she's replaced by Boris Johnson, and Labour MPs in case she's replaced by Jeremy Corbyn.

They've also been happy to let her blunder on in pursuit of her brexit deal (pretty much the only one available), while they carp from the sidelines. That process has now come to a halt, and MPs from both sides of the House now have to actually choose either her deal, no deal, or an extension/revocation of brexit that ensures it never happens.

Even now, it seems they're not yet ready for this.

So Mrs May thought ‘ I know how to put MP’s in danger, I will make a speech’ .

Interesting isn’t it suzied that all those huffing and puffing about how MPs had warnings before TM’s speech seem not to realise the fact that that made her speech even worse as she knew the MPs were ar risk and deliberately and with malice aforethought sought to increase that danger. Is there anything more she can do that would make some of us despise her more?

Certain MPs tweeted straight after May's speech that they felt even less safe due to her criticisms of them in the speech.

I am sure I heard those allegations, that TM's speech had put MPs under increased threat, made on the BBC this morning.

in a week we will be leaving as in law, that is something definite

This prolongued uncertainty could have affected the whole nation, everyone is very jumpy, not just MPs etc.
It has affected me in various ways, even though I keep resolving not to read or listen any more. Keep hoping something definite will happen.

I repeat Deputy Speaker Lyndsey Hoyle sent the e. mail to MP's ' PRIOR TO' '. Theresa May's Speech and I face the reason why.

My comment is to you in person as it is' your ' statement not Sky News that I have issue with.

I am not blind and cannot see I am a stickler for ' truth / honesty and factual information' which at times is sadly lacking on GN.

You are peddling either MISINFORMATION in all good faith or you are purposely twisting facts to push your agenda.

DEPUTY SPEAKER LYNDSAY HOYLE e. mailed that advice to MP's ' PRIOR TO ' Theresa May's speech outside No 10!

The director of public prosecutions, Max Hill had sent the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee a letter naming a list of prosecutions against people who had abused or threatened an MP. The Human Rights Committee published the letter on Thursday, BEFORE Theresa May made her speech.

It was the publishing of that letter that gave rise to Deputy Speaker Lyndsey Hoyle sending the e. mail to MP's NOT as you state because of May's Speech.
