Isn't it hustings where politicians expect to be challenged?

As the donation was made in my name only, the name of my OH and colleague will not appear.

Bit worried about whoever said they have seen all the NF rallies on YouTube. Have they watched any other party rallies? Seems very sycophantic to me and hardly balanced.

I went to a Roy Jenkins rally once in my innocent days. I didn't realise they were for the already converted and asked him a difficult question. He had a tantrum! I now realise he had expected everyone there to be a supporter.

Remainers seem to spend an disproportionate amount of time talking about Brexiteers in general and NF in particular.
I wonder why this is, when they hate dislike him so much and pour scorn on those who want out.
We really must be rattling their cage.

They don't even seem to need modernising, Whitewave. I can't find a transcript of any of NF's speeches but what I've seen reported (and I've looked at right wing sites for this) sounds strikingly similar.

Of course, GG54 has now potentially outed herself.

When Farage's list of party donors is made public by the Electoral Commission we may well be able to work out her identity and that of her OH. Unlike the £499.99 donations, the details of donors of amounts above that have to be returned to the EC. These details are made publicly available by the EC. I believe the return is due at the end of June.

It will be interesting to read the donations, amounts and givers. We now know of 2 to check it is being declared! Perhaps the heads up ought to be given to the appropriate authorities?

Interesting article today in the Observer, and one which may well attract a good deal of interest.

It argues that Farage is in fact fighting a cultural war, and in effect is not really interested in Brexit, but using it as a vehicle - a sort of honey trap to begin to attack the political parties in the U.K. and fighting to take the U.K. to the far right.
Farage is using the same method as the Tea Party in USA and which gave Trump the presidency.
Interestingly Trump has so far not got the most votes it was dependent on the way the states fell. I think a strong parallel can be made with the U.K.
Undoubtedly the Tory party are s...t scared of Farage as they know that their constituent members tend to be more right wing than their MPs. This will I fear encourage them to choose hard right rather than a traditional right of centre Tory.

What do you enjoy about these " discussions" G?
