So all leavers. Assuming all the other political parties are supporting another referendum or remain,

Will you vote for a new type of hard right Tory party which will be culmination of the extreme hard right ambition or stay loyal to and send a message to the moderate Tory party in the new independent MPs.

Day6 posts " I might vote for Boris's new and improved optimistic party. He has made a great start as PM. "

I can honestly say in a long life of following politics, in my opinion, there has never been a PM who has made a worse start.

This bumbling fool is out of his depth .

He is not worthy of licking the boots of Clement Atlee, Winston Churchill, Anthony Eden, Harold Macmillan, Alec Douglas Home, Harold Wilson, Edward Heath, James Callaghan, Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Tony Blair , Gordon Brown, David Cameron or even Theresa May - and I despise quite a lot of the names on that list.

I could never have imagined seeing such a low calibre, devious, pathetic liar as our PM.

I think that Tories will be punished in the next election. I would ignore the pollsters - they don't have a great track record.

jura2 Tue 03-Sept-19 18:13:33

Indeed

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 18:11:43

Here you are jura might help

Robert Peston
@Peston

Here is the paradox that is doing my head in. Later tonight, when up to 20 odd Tories are stripped of the Tory whip,
@BorisJohnson
's minority in parliament will go from minus 2 to minus a lot. He will have no control of parliament. And yet his attempt tomorrow to hold a...
general election on 14 October may flop. None of this makes any sense. Chaos. Madness

so hope more will walk the floor - it was good enough for Churchill - good enough now. Nicholas should do, and many more.

Excellent resume from Twitter

Boris Johnson prorogued parliament, pissed off his colleagues till they're willing to vote against him, lost his majority live on TV and later today he'll be firing his hero Churchill's grandson. Not entirely sure he's the brilliant tactician everyone has been led to believe.

harmless I heard about the bodybags, but didn’t realise that it was the same senior neurologist.

I think the problem that is becoming apparent is the use of language being adopted by people like Mogg and Johnson.

Day6 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:56:45

But equally, Corbyn says one thing, believes in it whole-heartedly and then jumps ship when the time to stand up for his beliefs and principles matters.

He loves a bit of anarchy does old Marxist Jez. This time in political history suits him down to the ground. He is having a ball whipping up a bit of civil disobedience, but his transparency shows his true nastiness towards the UK and his hatred of the establishment.

He befriends our enemies too and thinks little of national security.

His time isn't coming. He blew it long ago.

mostlyharmless Tue 03-Sept-19 16:56:05

That interview with Mogg WW was with senior neurologist Dr Nichol. The same doctor said today that the Government was stockpiling bodybags for Brexit!

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:45:57

What’s going to do for Johnson is his history. He’s a liar and no one can trust what he says.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:41:32

Dr. Lee said that what finally pushed him to leave the Tories was Rees Mogg disgraceful attitude to a medical professional on LBC. I listened to that and was appalled as well.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:33:18

I m not alone in thinking this

@IanDunt
On presentation: This is disastrous. And importantly, it a disaster in exactly the area in which Tory members thought he would succeed: charisma, confidence, 'optimism'.

varian Tue 03-Sept-19 16:26:01

Dr Phillip Lee sits beside JO Swinson. He has crossed the floor and is now a member of the Liberal Democrats!

Day6 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:25:25

Will you vote for a new type of hard right Tory party

No. But I might vote for Boris's new and improved optimistic party. He has made a great start as PM.

I am aware the left hate him - but they tend to hate lots of things now Jeremy and Momentum are showing the Labour Party how to alienate the working classes and people they are supposed to respect and work with.

I ask left wingers -are you in favour of the new middle class Labour Party, run by hard left puppet masters, and it's leader, the biggest hypocrite in terms of the EU. A known and vociferous Eurosceptic - for all of his decades in parliament - now wants us to remain. He toes the party line because he is weak and devious.

Boris wins hands down. He has his finger on the pulse regarding domestic issues outside his Brexit remit. People are saying good things about him.

Jo Swinson is a poor leader and the traitorous 'independents' who ditched their parties, will, with a bit of luck, lose their seats come the next GE.

Beth Rigby

Theresa May sits next to Ken Clarke in the chamber. The father of the House of could be expelled from the party by her successor.

We don’t want a bumbling fool for Prime Minister. I think that the Tories must be wondering what on Earth they have landed themselves with.

mostlyharmless Tue 03-Sept-19 16:17:14

Philip Hammond calling Johnson’s bluff and asking him to publish his new ideas for getting a deal today!

lemongrove Tue 03-Sept-19 16:16:13

You seem very keen on passing on the thoughts of Jonathan Liss WWM2 why not just comment yourself?

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:14:50

Johnson has degenerated into a pile of waffle.
