England is England

I'm not sure the c word is allowed here. (lol)

Although I thought feminists reclaimed it a long time ago.

So on the whole I'm confused as it what is a swear word or not..

Oh fxxk.

We could continue in the same succinct vein:

Degrees are degrees
G.C.S.E's are G.C.S.E's
A spade is a spade
Cauliflower cheese is cauliflower cheese...

Not sure where that one is going. But then as most of you have already noticed I'm not sure where I am going half the time either...

Monday morning eh

Brexit means Brexit

Leave means Leave

Is this the sort of thing we mean?

'Morning, painting. Here to mix us all up again? grin

We need to be kind to painting, having earned 3 degrees and yet pleading poverty in other threads, life must have been unkind to her. It’s surprising how many graduates never get their ambitions fulfilled.

DAvidhs.
It depends what you consider happiness to be, doesn't it?
If it is making sacrifices (both financial and practical) so that your child/young person can be happy (and is) - then I consider that the fulfilment of an ambition. And by the way I don't 'plead' poverty. That is a very nasty remark.
In my family, which is happy and healthy I am rich beyond measure. Money can't buy you love...Thank you.
