No deal “off the table”

So only off the table for the time being until there is a new government. Now we will have weeks of more political nastiness. I’m fed up with the whole lot of them.

Sorry painting but it is correct. My understanding is that a new government can start it all over again. Also, when the negotiating time is finished, if no agreement, they can force a no deal. Unfortunately it is only off the table for the short term.

Sorry Nonnie, that is not accurate.

The no deal is 'off the table'.

That doesn't mean that 'all things will be open for debate'.

A week is a long time in politics.

My guess is we wont' be leaving at all.

When we have a new parliament all things will be open for debate. They can't bind a future government so it can only be until after a GE.

I’m bemused that “off the table” is being used for the delay in our leaving the EU. Can someone please explain I’d this is temporary or permanent, please.
