Just that

GracesGranMK3 Wed 06-Nov-19 12:43:14

Was about to post then the lectern came out at No.10. I don't want to waste my time finding out who the Tories insult next so back to doing something useful.

Not me personally suziewoozie but a huge local problem and the Welsh Secretary was onside.

I'll make no comment on what he is supposed to have done/not done, just saying that we have now lost an ally.
We'll have to wait and see what 12th December brings and whether the new incumbent will be interested.

They even cocked up the timing of AC’s resignation - it was clearly meant to happen during BJ’s launch so it would be ignored but came out a bit too early.

Who says it isn't going well?
It's going as well as they deserve and I for one think they're doing a grand job (for everyone but the Tory party) !!

Tbf Call whatever help you need, having a liar helping you wouldn’t really inspire confidence would it? Isn’t there anyone else who could help you?

Tories’ first morning on campaign:

✅ Chairman lies to
@GMB
about a previous lie about Labour
✅ Gets empty-chaired and humiliated on Sky
✅ Leader of House refuses to resign after suggesting Grenfell victims were thick
✅ Welsh Secretary does resign

Blimey funny sort of help
I don't know what you mean whitewave - do you have any idea what I meant?

Some of these threads/posts are very strange at the moment

Headless chickens

#ToriesLie

We should fit them with collars which explode when they lie.

But then would we notice the difference - they all run around like headless chickens anyway.

That was in reply to suziewoozie

(fast-moving thread)

Callistemon Wed 06-Nov-19 12:16:09

Oh no!
We need him as he's helping with local issues.

Love this tweet?

Loving that the major developing theme of the Conservatives general election campaign seems to be eugenics #ToriesLie #ToriesOut

And now Alun Cairns, Welsh Secretary , has had to resign.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 06-Nov-19 11:58:57

We’ve been forking out for that electioneering.

Wonderful isn’t it?

suziewoozie Wed 06-Nov-19 11:57:06

The Tory Election campaign started today? Who believes that - it’s been going on for weeks but without the costs having to be counted as part of election expenditure. However, 5 weeks is a long time for all parties involved.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 06-Nov-19 11:55:53

Not a good start. Scandal after scandal.

I am loving it! They have treated the poor soooo badly that I think its karma. The sooner we get rid of this lot of liars the better.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 06-Nov-19 11:44:47

run as opposed to fun?

Whitewavemark2 Wed 06-Nov-19 11:44:21

Did anyone see Kate Burley talking to an empty chair this morning that was supposed to contain Cleverly, who had fun back to HQ after the drubbing he got from other interviews this morning?

Burley went through all the questions she had intended to put to Cleverly.

It was brutal!!

I think all the parties are going to struggle to win support. Recent events and behaviour have put all in a very poor light. There is no-one worthy of our trust.

jura2 Wed 06-Nov-19 10:51:35

Not going well at all, for sure.

What they did to Keir's interview was base, dirty, fraud- wrong sad

Urmstongran Wed 06-Nov-19 10:22:05

See Boris is already trying to Court the over 80s voters this morning by doing a house call.

GracesGranMK3 Wed 06-Nov-19 10:05:51

I think their message is supposed to be a positive one WW but rather like our own dear right-wing GNetters it gets lost in all the nastiness and you end up asking "what is the Tory message"? Are we actually expected to vote for name-calling?

I do hope today's front page spread, of the only PM ever to have a column in a daily newspaper, is the last or it's going to cost them a fortune against their election spending allowance -because it's not free publicity is it?

This morning, again just like our own dear right-wingers, he has really gone over the top with his outrageous journalistic hyperbole. Not a lot about the Tory message though - do you think they have got one?
