Political onanism

growstuff, Id been trying not to bring my 3 and 4 year old grandsons in to this discussion BUT, pooohhh weeee pooooohhh willllie, bum bum (repeat endlessly whilst falling about laughing). Mr Johnson's use of language and obsession with whatever we want to call it isn't much advance on 3 and 4 year old boys imo.

If it’s ok to use metaphors about sexual behaviour in political discourse ( which imo it isn’t) but if it is, you should use words that everyone can understand like wanking and tossing off. People didn’t understand it when hewed spaffing because it’s a posh boys word - boys being the operative description. After all he’s used get stuffed, girly swot, big girls blouse.

Apparently, he's used the word "oananism" before. I find his use of masturbatory language (and other themes) indicative of immaturity.

I expect any former language teachers on here remember how the little boys used to look up the smutty words whenever they were handed a dictionary. For some reason, they sometimes used to scribble a picture of an ejaculating penis or naked breasts next to smutty words. They then thought they were oh so clever for knowing the translation of these words.

Nothing this man has done since he was 'elected' by a gang of largely white, middle aged, middle class men, has done anything to reassure me that he's the right person to be our Prime Minister.

His sense of entitlement and need to show off, to be the centre of attention is grim. Add to that his total disregard for those people flooded out in Yorkshire, that's his first national crisis and look how he responded. "it isn't a national emergency". -

Has he actually said it yet? Reading the press, it seems that a press release has been released ( I wonder by whom) saying he'll say it. What's the betting he doesn't, so that in the end he can't be accused of using the imagery of masturbation and a crude slur?

The damage, of course, has already been done and some people think he's such an entertaining and clever chap for using a word which has given them a schoolboy titillating giggle. It really is pathetic that somebody who holds such a great office of state has descended to this kind of cheap jibe - and more fools the people who think he's entertaining or clever.

I used to get teased at primary school for talking 'posh', but I'm sure I didn't use words like onanism or spaffing. Or piccaninnies to describe people of colour. Or letterbox to describe Muslim women.
