So today Johnson refused to look at footage of a 4 year old boy being treated on the floor of a Leeds A&E, even pocketing the phone of the journalist trying to show it to him.

Where is this man’s common decency?
Where is his humanity?
When will he realise the buck stops with him ?

'How the father of that young victim of the latest terror attack, can make political fodder out of his own son's cruel death is beyond me.

(As per a post at 19:25:41 yesterday)'....
it was Johnson that wrote an article about the murder; the victims father is distraught that Johnson used his son's death for political gain.....that is why he is talking to the press. How bloody insensitive some of you are....angry….

The Conservatives have put a huge poster up at the entrance to a local crematorium; this follows on from putting one at the entrance to a local National Trust property. Have they no shame?

Blimey, the front cover of the DM is so subtle again today sad

Yehbutnobut Thu 12-Dec-19 16:15:44

Good luck then cutting through their red tape and defence system!

That is a very laborious and cumbersome process....ask those whose relatives and babies have died about the cover up. Crude though it might be you have to admit it had results.

No I wouldn't sit back and do nothing. I would be on the hospital's case fighting my corner.

Jabberwok Thu 12-Dec-19 10:29:51

Callistemon Thu 12-Dec-19 10:22:46

Callistemon Thu 12-Dec-19 10:11:36

Gonegirl Thu 12-Dec-19 10:07:18

Gonegirl Thu 12-Dec-19 10:06:40

Or even the local vicar.

Callistemon Thu 12-Dec-19 10:06:38

grin
And I forgot, green cheese

Gonegirl Thu 12-Dec-19 10:06:11

How's that for a cheerful little Pollyanna.

Gonegirl Thu 12-Dec-19 10:05:02

It might be just a lump of old rock but it still serves a useful purpose, as even the meanest amongst us can do. smile

Callistemon Thu 12-Dec-19 09:57:10

It's just a lump of rock without its own light!

Tooting would you just lie back and do nothing? I certainly wouldn’t. If more genuine people who have suffered what they have made a fuss and went public perhaps we wouldn’t be in this situation.

Imagine, that mother. During an election, listening to all the lies spewing from Boris and being in that situation. Good for her.,

Grandma2213 Thu 12-Dec-19 00:53:24

* pinkquartz* and Jura Sometimes I need to look up to the moon and stars to remind myself all is not yet lost. Yes it is beautiful tonight though no snow in Lancashire!

MaizieD Thu 12-Dec-19 00:39:31

Isn't the full moon meant to induce madness? Perhaps all our Johnson lovers will be affected and go and vote Labour today ?

GracesGranMK3 Thu 12-Dec-19 00:21:28

The mother actually took it to her local paper, the evening paper that is sister paper of to the Yorkshire Post. We cannot know why she did it but I can imagine that to her, it was local.

jura2 Wed 11-Dec-19 22:53:44

waaaahoooooo

yes, clear night and full moon on the snow

pinkquartz Wed 11-Dec-19 22:52:38

I am too tired to muscle in but I do like to take part....

It's a beautiful full moon tonight.
Am wondering if the full moon will affect voting?

or the Candidates behaviours? fullmoon

People take all sorts of things to the papers, tooting. That's where they get their news from, whether it's from companies, political parties, charities or people wanting to publicise something they think is wrong, or to puff off some achievement of a family member. When we had a neighbourhood dispute with someone who wanted to nick a piece of apparently ownerless land in our small community to build on one of the first things we did was go to the local press.

Politics pervades our everyday lives, it's ridiculous to say that people should never use the press for political ends. It's a way of 'talking' to the rest of one's community about problems, and triumphs...

trisher Wed 11-Dec-19 22:01:51

Tooting29 I think the mother probably just wanted people to know what happened. I don't suppose she sat there thinking aboout the consequences. I don't suppose she expected. someone to post things about her making it all up.

Tooting29 Wed 11-Dec-19 21:44:27

If the mother didn't want it politicised why take the photo and send it to local paper. Similarly the father of the young man killed in London who gives interviews to newspapers. Sad for both families.
