GG3 if it helps, I support your stance.
Too many snowflakes on here. We need to 'get real'.
I’m a Pear/Apple - Part 5. Still going!!
They reckon a huge majority for the tories!
GG3 if it helps, I support your stance.
Too many snowflakes on here. We need to 'get real'.
As a labour supporter you purport to be caring, as so many of your cohorts, but it’s selective - only people who agree with your viewpoint. And for the record I’m not biased for any political party but will always call it out when I see it.
I have great respect for anyone who owns their political beliefs but never for people who refer to someone as scum because they hold different views.
If they are racists then it is reasonable to call them racists Annie. I have yet to come across a left-wing racist - not to say they don't exist - but the only ones I have come across are very much of the blue hue or even further to the right. I can only go on what I have seen or what has actually been legally proved.
Was Corbyn a supporter of the IRA. Have you actually got proof of this or is it more of the rubbish we have heard in the past. Show me proof and I will join you in decrying him. Talking to them does not constitute a supporter. I am looking forward to seeing the release of the papers from that time 30 years after the event. However, I am not as obsessed with Corbyn as you seem to be.
I have never professed to be caring. Are you accusing me again of things I didn't say Pantglas2? I do wish you would stop the personal attacks. So much for "one nation" Tories.
I left the Labour Party because of anti semetism and on learning Corbyn was a supporter of the IRA,
I abhor racism, so is it acceptable for me to call labour voters
racists, liars, scum if they go along with these ?
Scum isn’t a word to use about anyone GracesGranMK3 and you and Grandad1943 have used that word about people you disagree with.
There may be other instances on GN that I’m unaware of but you are the only two who refuse to apologise for using the word and yet profess to be the most caring - can you see our dilemma in wondering which is the true person?
I have been out, not ignoring you, so let's get to the bottom of this. I have never called a member of Gransnet "scum". That is what you accused me of.
Why did the phrase come up? This is the whole post. Very generalised and limited to those Tory voters - anywhere - who saw nothing immoral in the lack of honesty, integrity, probity and morality we saw in the election.
Quote Honesty, integrity, probity, morality.......we are talking politicians here and few on any side of the political divide have those attributes, are you confusing politicians with bishops? End Quote.
My reply No, we never expected to hear the whole truth from politicians but the level of lying - sheer out and out lying is the worst I ever remember. Is it because we are at war - no. Is it to protect negotiations - no. It is not even presenting the better side. It is absolute lies, particularly to Northern Ireland, only for the sake of the Brexit Tory and Boris Johnson's career.
I did not think my view of some Tory supporters could sink further but the morality of those who would support this is definitely called into question. Just how stupid would you have to be to support someone prepared to do this to others in the mad belief they will not do it to you and yours?
Do not trust a Tory, folks. Even one who is only voting for them. They are the scum of the earth if they go along with this as if it were nothing.
I still believe this. If someone, as a Tory, was so self-serving, selfish, greedy and grasping they would suggest it was normal to use lies, obfuscation and deception to the level we saw it from the government during the election, simply to get into power to protect their wealth and to accumulate more then they are pretty low on the scale of reasonable human beings in my view. But that could quite easily be no one on here - or not. I certainly don't know which is why I spoke generally.
I am not in the least surprised no one reported it at the time or, if they did (and we will never know) that the report was disregarded. The post is generally directed and limited in its scope. This is often not true of what this little kangaroo court say to me, to Grandad, and to others who are further to the left in their views than they are.
Yep , but you have respect of posters Opal
Still waiting for an apology from GGMK3 for calling me a liar, even though other posters have proved I was right. Speaks volumes really, doesn't it? ........
Not with me, I post to learn too
Anniebach in regard to your post @15:55 today, I only post on any subject(s) that I feel I may have some knowledge in, however limited.
I would hope that the situation would be the same with all forum. members?
With respect grandsd43 you only post on one subject yes ?
pinkquartz you have stated today on this thread @ 14:34 " I never insulted grandad1943 I tried to tell him that his dense posts were off putting potential voters. I was ignored."
However, pinkquartz the above is not a fact as you were not in any way ignored being I replied to your post in with the following:-
Grandad1943 @20:49 on the 17/12/19.
pinkquartz, in regard to your post @20:16 today you have referred to my posts as "dense and incomprehensible ". You have also on several occasions referred to my post disparagingly without making any direct reference to the subject or the augment I have referred too or made in those posts.
There is a simple answer to the problem you appear to have with the contributions that I make to this forum, that being, to simply not read those contributions.
Repost end here.
I can only assume pinkquartz that you have difficulty at times remembering what replies you receive to the posts you make. Do you find that it is only in regard to some forum members replies?
Quite GrannyGravy13
That’s what I thought.
We will all form our own opinion of that poster.
Pinkquartz
I have PMd you.
I think it’s preferable to leave insulting posts on these threads........it reveals far more about the poster???
Wow lemongrove. Thanks for highlighting that awful post on the 'Considering voting Tory?' thread. GGM3 Fri Dec 06 19 15.24.09
I shall remember that one. Why did no-one report it? Such unpleasant name-calling is just not acceptable. As far as I know I've only ever posted facts, opinions or questions, and have never resorted to outright rudeness or name-calling, even towards politicians I dislike. I hope I have never offended, even if I try to liven things up sometimes.
I have never known *pinkquartz to post anything rude or insulting ,even when she is verbally attacked she doesn’t respond in kind.
GGMK3
I never insulted grandad1943 I tried to tell him that his dense posts were off putting potential voters.
I was ignored.
I never called him boring, just his posts. The ones like lectures. And I gave good reasons, not faulty .
At first I didn't mention him by name but I was called on to do so "show some courage" so I did.
But it wasn't a personal insult.
I have been told I am rude.. I wasn't rude, I had an opinion on certain posts and would still stand by that.
Yet GGMK3 it seems you are rudest of them all
Actually I am not stupid but you are very very rude and a snob.
I agree with you maddyone
I appreciate your response grandad1943 but you did ignore me. I doubt I will bother to read anymore, but you never know.
and also is inkcog grapefruitpipwith a name change?
Inkcog
Who's Beryl?
You did get it, then.
How honoured we are to have Meryl or is it Beryl amongst us. I thought she had gone away.
Annie
I see what you did there. Very clever ????
Thanks to Doodle and Opal ?
Inkcog
You got it, then?
Ooo, I just found that Considering voting Tory thread. It reminded me why I stopped looking at all the Remainers’ threads. There’s an awful lot of nastiness there, just for the sake of being nasty. I’m so glad I voted the way I did if that’s the sort of people who voted Labour.
Curiouser and curiouser.
Any chance of an apology GGM3......as you did say it!
