MPs above inflation pay rise

That's as may be Calendargirl but surely they should be setting an example, they not only have their salaries but extensive benefits as well. Pity their pay is not performance related.

They cut PIP disability benefit as soon as they knew they had a majority. Went back on several of their promises.

They already get free travel, free rent on second homes expenses.

Ok to give themselves a pay rise yet again. Stuff the the rest.

Although it looks a huge salary, I suppose it’s no more than top earners in other occupations.

Looking after themselves, expect their pensions will raise with it. Noses in the through springs to mind.

Seems like MPs are about to get another above inflation pay rise taking them to nearly 82K. Still I expect they are worth it. Wonderful how they managed to get a formula that leaves other public sector pay deals standing.
