Couldn't care less about any of them. I would issue a warning to William. Historically kings called Charles have suffered or been followed by periods of upheaval. Cromwell and William and Mary. It might be best if he tried to develop some other skills.

I think the Cambridge and Wessex families will do a good job for the monarchy now. Princess Anne has always worked hard and just got on with things.

I have not condemned anybody. I will post as I wish. I do not agree with the sentiment that the whole country is behind William and Kate.

What exactly did the royals get up to then?

Oh yes I know many people who consider the whole royal family to be parasites. But if we're going to have one, I like them to be smiling and looking interested when they meet the public or visiting VIPs and not filling the newspapers with whinge.

The country is fully behind you? Er, no. Many people too preoccupied disinterested, ill, tired, fed up to care. Perhaps slightly sick of being played by the media?

I've often thought it would be nice to see a bit more of Edward and Sophie. I believe they both work very hard but rarely get media coverage.

I've previously read a few articles that said Sophie had been a great help and support to Kate in the early days of her royal life.

No-one is irreplaceable.
The remaining family members would have stepped back to allow Harry and Meghan to take their rightful places, but equally will step forward to fill the gap now they've gone.
There are some strong characters there who I'm sure will support William and Kate without trying to upstage either of them. The future looks good!
