So sad to see that Nicholas Parsons has died today. I'll miss his quick but gentle humour on Just a Minute.

I admired him very much after hearing some years ago that at a performance of his one man show, only one ticket had been sold. But he insisted on going ahead anyway, since the man had paid for his ticket, and bought him a drink afterwards.
That’s a professional for you!
