After the news about Bea and Edo's wedding venue this morning, I was having a quick scan to see what Harry would managed to newsbomb them with. Well it seems they scurried around a bit and finally got themselves into the evening news. Well done Harry and Meghan, don't get caught napping when you have family to compete with for publicity [roll eyes]

Anne has carried on with her royal duties , does much for
British charities, Harry buggers off to America, sod British
charities , keeps the mansion and sponges of the tax payer .what’s to admire ? His wife hasn’t lost the weight she gained
in pregnancy .

Greymar Mon 10-Feb-20 18:20:48

I admire people who have the guts to say they are struggling. I admire them immensly.

merlotgran Mon 10-Feb-20 18:19:48

Nothing wrong with a stiff upper lip if it gets you through.

I've always admired people who show fortitude.

Greymar Mon 10-Feb-20 18:19:47

Blimey, rude where?

suziewoozie Mon 10-Feb-20 18:18:33

What on Earth is so rude in Greys post? Over reaction much - just let go of those pearls.

maddyone Mon 10-Feb-20 18:18:21

And you’re equally rude, but then I already knew that. Sad, from older ladies!

suziewoozie Mon 10-Feb-20 18:17:06

A new saint - aw bless.

maddyone Mon 10-Feb-20 18:16:23

That is so rude Greymar, absolutely so rude. Whatever is making you so over reactive?

Greymar Mon 10-Feb-20 18:09:42

What the hell is wromg with you? Why is the stiff upper lip so admired?
Here's a thing Princess Anne seems Ok and M and H seem OK too.

maddyone Mon 10-Feb-20 18:04:09

YesAnnie, Princess Anne is to be admired for her hard working attitude, but the defenders of H+M’s behaviour apparently have not a good word for this lady who gets on with her life without attracting attention to herself and who supports her mother so very well.

maddyone Mon 10-Feb-20 18:00:52

I agree with you Greymar, that is that Meghan didn’t appear to rush back into her pre baby weight, and she looks lovely now, as she always has done. She is a very attractive woman, but this thread is about whether or not H+M have let Britain down or not. I think they could easily have taken on fewer royal duties and earned their own living in Britain or Canada, as I said before, they could have developed something like the Duchy of Cornwall or akin to Princess Anne’s horse business run from Gatcombe Park. I fail to see anything admirable in either what they’ve done or the appalling way they did it, and I’m surprised that others find it admirable. Those that do must absolutely hate the monarchy and are gloating to see it rejected in this disgraceful manner. There are ways and means to an end, and the way this has been done is appalling.

I admire their youth, their vigour, their willingness not to be ordinary. Their passion for each other and their adorable child.

I don't think I've ever admired anyone for being young. We were all young once.

I've looked up the definition of vigour because I couldn't see a relevant connection. Resilient strength is one of the examples hmm Substantial energy is another grin

Willing or not, they will never be 'ordinary' No effort required on their part.

Passion for eachother. Let's hope so.

Adorable child. Yep! I agree with that one.

Anniebach Mon 10-Feb-20 17:56:16

She is to be admired maddy , loyalty to her parents and duty to her country .

Never heard her say she suffered mental anguish after the
kidnapping attempt .

maddyone Mon 10-Feb-20 17:52:08

I meant to say first ever female Captain General. I feel she is to be admired, many, if not most of us Gransnetters are fully retired at 69.

Greymar Mon 10-Feb-20 17:50:28

I admired M for appearing looking like a Mum, rounded, larger, real.

Greymar Mon 10-Feb-20 17:49:30

Jabberwok Mon 10-Feb-20 17:39:22

She most certainly is and has a lot of common sense! A real asset to the RF. Hopefully Beatrice and Eugenie will be found roles too, the seem very pleasant young women and no one can help their parents!!!!?

Anniebach Mon 10-Feb-20 17:35:22

Do you Greymar ? And for keeping Frogemore, his title , money from the Duchy of Cornwall and security paid by the
British tax payer ?

What’s to admire ?

Anniebach Mon 10-Feb-20 17:32:41

Not suitable a job for Harry, not paid.

Greymar Mon 10-Feb-20 17:31:47

I admire Harry for getting out.

maddyone Mon 10-Feb-20 17:27:04

Just heard Princess Anne, who is apparently 69 years old, is to take over Harry’s role in the Royal Marines and become it’s first ever Captain General. She is a hard working royal, and she represents her mother and her family without any fuss. She is to be admired for her sense of duty.

Jabberwok Mon 10-Feb-20 17:26:15

Me neither!

Anniebach Mon 10-Feb-20 17:21:00

Who here would ignore one’s legal advisor and go to America
to be questioned ?

I wouldn’t.

Jabberwok Mon 10-Feb-20 17:19:08

Misjudgment isn't a crime! No doubt his lawyers have advised him on how to proceed!
Sorry my post upset you, but you can't argue that what I posted is untrue?! The truth can hurt, particularly when it's about an icon!

Greymar Mon 10-Feb-20 17:16:32

Whats the pay off I wonder?
