I am disgusted by the announcement that these two have sacked 15 British members of staff. What are they thinking? I ask myself 'how would I feel if I'd upped sticks and gone to another country out of loyalty to my employer, only for them to get rid of me 3 months later. I would be heartbroken and furious.
I think those of you who think the Irish aren't interested in the Royals might be surprised if you looked at some of the Irish media. Just like anywhere, including the UK (!), some are hostile but many find the visits interesting and enjoyable and commentary on Kate's green clothing has been warm.
I'm about the so called secret visit to the London National Theatre when it was announced last week that she'd be going there. It was definitely on the itinerary.
Camilla made an important speech on abuse of women yesterday, the rest of the family were instructed no attention to take attention from the speech. Megan made a secret visit to the London National Theatre and release photographs of her ‘private’ visit,
Wow, such vitriol, so many comments about someone's appearance It's tantamount to bullying and I, for one, don't blame them for going, if the comments on here are anything to go by This has been quite a nasty read
the hypocrisy of it all upsets me. Why dress up so glamorously, then cry poor me the nasty media are taking my photo? I agree Namsnanny .... which is why M was not wearing a coat despite it being chilly ..... and I think that the romantic umbrella shot was posed. But there you are ..... however, I think Kate is a treasure.
Just taken a look at Catherine’s Irish outfits after reading all the comments. What struck me was in the picture of her in the green evening dress was how much she is starting to look like her mother.
Oh yes Callistemon, I remember my Gran used to say that to each and everyone of us gchildren. Along with 'I'll leave it all to you (jewellery/money etc.)' None of us got a thing!
It is said that is what was written. It has been widely reported, long before this latest H+M business, that Harry is the Queen’s favourite. Believe it, or don’t, it doesn’t matter to me.
Katherine did not look frumpy or condescending and I don't think that the people of Ireland thought this for a moment. The Queen wore a lot of green when she went to Ireland and no one made derogatory comments about that.
