Co-operation

From 2010-15 we had a coalition government, this country's first peacetime experiment in co-operation between political parties. It did not end well for the LIbDems but they achieved a lot of good during these five years.

In 2019 many good MPs who believed that it should be possible to co-operate in politics left the Labour and Conservative parties and subsequently lost their seats in the General Election.

I support the Liberal Democrats, but there are some MPs of other parties who I still admire and think make a positive contribution to UK politics.

Which MPs of parties other than the one you would normally vote for do you admire?

I admire-

Stephen Parry of the Alliance Party of NI

Caroline Lucas of the Green Party

Joanna Cherry of the SNP

Hilary Benn of the Labour Party

Tobias Elwood of the Conservative Party

and of course all our LIbDems.

I rather liked Tim Farron (if anyone remembers him) he was very witty.

BJ is witty too, possibly not a top attribute

BJ should have stuck to comedy. He is not a politician I could ever admire.
