Local Elections in England, Spring 2021

This has been mentioned on another thread.

It is council elections, and police and crime commissioners in our area.

Never a good turnout.

It’s not just a case of making the venues Covid safe, it’s the collecting and returning of ballot boxes, the actual count afterwards, the number of admin staff involved in the whole rollout, probably all working from home at the moment.

If everyone could be sent a postal vote this time, that would be far better.

A huge expense involved, whatever they do.

Not like it’s a General Election either.
