I don’t believe Andrew wanted to wear a uniform he had no rights to wear, he isn’t the brightest coin in the mint but he would know his right to wear it had been deferred. He had the right to wear a vice admiral uniform, the only one who has no right to wear a uniform is Harry.

I believe there is a tacit agreement that during a funeral the cameras do not focus on the faces of the mourners, only on the service. Whether that still pertains I do not know; I hope it does.

I’m pretty sure you’re right. I think too much is being made of the funeral being broadcast. It’s the normal and appropriate thing to do for royal funerals and if people think it isn’t, then don’t watch.

No one said they weren’t grieving for their family member. But people saying they are sorry for the queen being on camera and then watching her every move on TV aren’t really sorry are they? I won’t be watching, but it will be hard to avoid every paper, news bulletin etc.
