Johnson's lies (again) Why do people still believe him?

I think she knew exactly what she was doing, she was asked to reconsider twice and stuck to her guns. She knew what word she wanted to use and used it, casting doubt on her intelligence is laughable. I don't expect she did it to draw attention to herself, but to show Johnson that we know his game and we're not all daft enough not to care about his lies.

Perhaps she should have the intelligence to find a vocabulary that wouldn’t have seen her thrown out, she could then have continued with her accusations, or perhaps it was deliberate to draw attention to herself.. Perhaps also she should remember her own lies re homelessness and two homes expenses scandal, couldn’t get Covid testing numbers right, then the hypocrisy around Toby Young when she was hobnobbing with Brendan Cox who had to leave his post with save the children. The opposition have done nothing to help in this pandemic, no useful plan to put forward, just criticism and blame. Like a ground hog Labour day. No I don’t agree with everything this Government have done either.

I see a few Tory MPs have been caught out trying to influence a high court judge over the Charlie Elphick sexual harassment case.

His wife is one of them, and recently she also had to apologise over remarks she made about Rashford.

The Speaker should do his job, and same for Deputy- insist that he answers questions asked on our behalf by our Representatives- and stop his ranting and pre-prepared attacks and deflections to his own agenda.

Johnson might have been elected WITH a huge majority but he was not elected BY a huge majority. Most who voted in the last election voted against him and he is only PM because of our undemocratic FPTP voting system.

He is unfit to be PM, as we have been told by people like Dominic Cummings, Michael Gove and so many others and has done untold damage to this country.

I know quite a few people who were initially impressed by Boris Johnson but who have now seen through his façade and it didn't take them very long to do so.

Cummings description of Johnson seems quite accurate to me. A bit like the orange haired one over the Pond. You say whatever you wish and you believe what you say. Trump told us that he'd won the election because 75 million people voted for him. And that is despite 80 million voting for Biden. And he believes that he won.

Boris was elected with a huge majority and his popularity continues with most people. The political threads are captured by the same few Gransnetters posting the same views time and time again and, to my mind, bullying anyone who doesn't agree with them. No wonder folk don't join in. I read them all, but rarely comment due to the nastiness.

Cummings is a bitter little man with a massive chip on his shoulder because he was sacked. I wouldn’t trust anything that came out of his mouth.

Cummings is competent enough to have run 3 very successful campaigns; the North East devolution (anti), Leave EU, and the 2019 General election. Whereas Johnson, by all accounts, couldn't run the proverbial p*ss up in a brewery (he gets other people to do the work...)

I feel that Cummings has a better grasp of the truth and reality, than does Johnson.
