To turn up looking like a tramp is showing clear disrespect to all the fallen.

It is funny or clever, it is a disgrace.

You’re definitely wrong on this one I’m afraid timetogo2016. Even when he fell down in the sea he was wearing a smart suit.

I think brexit is Johnson’s war. Setting people against each other, inciting hatred of ‘furriners’. He’s still constantly trying to aggravate tensions between the U K and France.

Well, Macron can share some of the blame for this.

Pompous little man.

Why is his height relevant ? “Little” man is so derogatory.
Sorry but it’s a bugbear of mine.

Lucca,i am pretty sure N Kinnock was blasted by the press at some point about his attire, and the falling into the sea and coming up a mess,i know M Foot looked a right state at the cenotaph.
And if i am mistaken i hold my hands up, i`m gatting used to being bashed.

Michael foot wore a Jaeger coat at the cenotaph.
Kinnock got teased for falling in the sea! Not for turning up to a state occasion badly dressed.

Getting bashed even.

He is an utter disgrace in the way he behaves all the time, aside from his dress/hair. Not surprised to here someone from the media say she was in a lift with him, and before the doors were about to open for him to get out he ruffled his hair. Such childish behaviour for someone his age holding the role of PM, but not a surprise.

It looks like a cry for help to me.
It’s wilful self-neglect

^But let’s not make stuff up about him, or anyone else.^

Who is making stuff up? It's true. Johnson 'would' be the one to send the military to war.

All the stuff about Blair and Cameron is irrelevant

The thing is, he hasn’t sent anyone to war, has he. Certainly won’t be sending the Forces to war on trumped up scenarios.

jaylucy Mon 15-Nov-21 12:39:27

Quite honestly, I can't see the difference to how he looks every other day that he is seen !
Never seen him look smart , whatever he is wearing!

I saw this and laughed.

Reminds me of one of the Benny Hill characters....

Yammy Do you really think that all those in the forces whom we were commemorating yesterday care about the clothes worn by MF and JC at the Cenotaph?

IT can be very cold and damp on November and it gets into people's bones, even when you're young(ish)

Yammy Mon 15-Nov-21 12:19:19

Micheal Foot was a disgrace at the Cenotaph in his Donkey jacket, Jeremy Corbin not much better.
As someone has posted the military are more worried about being sent to war than the way Johnston dresses.
I also say thank goodness for Harold Wilson always smartly dressed even in a Ganex and he did the country a great favour by keeping us out of the Vietnam war.

*Yes, GG13, it's a shame that we can't just sometimes see some good in people instead of always focusing on the bad. I do try to.*

I think I've got eye strain trying to see some good in Johnson. Can someone give me a clue?

?

Of course she did, as someone said to me when she complimented me on my dress: "I always know the right thing to say" ???

The new Michael Foot/Neil Kinnock.
Maybe his hair dresser taylors his suits.

Maybe you’d care to explain what you mean ?

Lucca Mon 15-Nov-21 11:23:52

Oh and here’s a little something about Michael Foot.

Can’t believe I did this but I googled images of Kinnock. Always smartly dressed in suits which fitted.

maddyone Mon 15-Nov-21 11:17:56

Casdon I agree, Kinnock was always well dressed and smart. So were Blair, Cameron, May, Major, and Thatcher.

I agree maddyone.

Neil Kinnock was always very well turned out, never knowingly seen except in a sharp suit, I have no idea why he’s been mentioned in this category either.

Ask any military officer. Johnson is the one who would send the young men they lead to their death or severe injury.

See what they think of Johnson’s appearance.

DS is an Officer (high ranking) I can assure you that he and his peers are far more concerned with the PM’s actions/deeds than his attire.
