Joan Didion, American journalist and author, dies at age 87

She’s been one of my favourite writers for a very long time. It’s sad, but of course she was 87 which is a good age. Slouching Towards Bethlehem and The White Album are some of my favourite books.

Such an intelligent woman. A loss to the world.
