I think he revels in his fake eccentricity.
Pillock!

Lucca- he must be a descendant of the Reece-Mog my father railed against. I remember that RM being proudly ‘eccentric’ like this one, cycling and ringing a proper bell, not a cycle bell. Right, I’ll google
I feel sorry for the mini me RM child he carts round his constituency. Awful

Thank you. Glad it’s not just me. Odious individual, and if he isn’t then that’s how he comes across. I like to think that the decent Conservatives of the past would be ashamed of him.

He really is a loathsome individual.

Obnoxious pillock- and even state educated
potted plants can see that...

Rosie51 Fri 07-Jan-22 18:01:25

Every time he opens his mouth he shows just how unsuitable he is for any position in public office. While I admit I can only try to imagine some of the hardships others have to face, I can and do try to do so. He just seeps contempt on everyone who isn't him or his horrid inner circle. Vile man.

I just do not understand the mentality that has to make a “joke” about everything in his position of responsibility. Shows such an utter lack of empathy. No ability to imagine what being a refugee is like. He’s like the personification of a sneer.

missadventure - love your last sentence ?

"We don't want to make it harder for intellectually able people to be Tory party candidates. The Tory party, when it's elected, has to be able to form a government and it's not going to be able to form a government if it has potted plants as candidates simply to make up quotas.

... the "potted plants" he referred to are those who have been State-educated...

The man is deeply unpleasant, smug and conceited. I cannot find one redeeming quality about him. Yet, in 2020, he was rated the 9th most popular politician. What am I missing?

I don't dislike him because he's a Tory, but because his superiority complex is nauseating.

Oldbat1 Fri 07-Jan-22 17:36:54

Disgraceful man.

MissAdventure Fri 07-Jan-22 17:19:07

MissA words fail me daily, too …

MissAdventure Fri 07-Jan-22 17:14:52

Fail = daily.

MissAdventure Fri 07-Jan-22 17:13:33

Words almost daily me, too.
There is one I can think of, but best not said here.

He thinks he is some sort of amusing raconteur, encouraged by the guffaws of the imbeciles who surround him, like flies round a cows arse. angry

Lucca Fri 07-Jan-22 17:05:10

Could this man be any more supercilious, smug, self satisfied?

How can it be acceptable to make light of the plight of refugees ?
