Tory Policy

I thought that as well as concentrating on incompetence and lies we ought to be looking at the harm that may and is being done as a result of Tory policy.

I’ll kickstart with this

Being reported by Yorkshire Live

Fisherman living off £100 per month as so much sewage has been pumped into British seawater “everything is dead for miles”.

That would also probably explain the hundreds of dead seabirds washed up on the beaches.

I see that it is being recorded that the cameras on the M20 have all been turned off .

Anything to do with the 17 km lorry tailback I wonder?

Strange sort of policy.

westendgirl and Lucca - and in NZ too!

Lucca Fri 21-Jan-22 09:17:39

Oh and they are 100% not “lefties” just by the way

Hetty58 Fri 21-Jan-22 09:17:05

MaizieD, yes, I know - it's just that most people assumed that it was 40 new hospitals, didn't they?

Lucca Fri 21-Jan-22 09:17:03

Yes and mine in Italy.

westendgirl Fri 21-Jan-22 09:12:24

We have been a laughing stock ever since Johnson took over according to my friends in France

What happened to the 40 new hospitals - and what, exactly, is a 'new hospital' anyway?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/59372348

Did you not see the directive to NHS that said that refurbishments and extending or building new units were to be presented as 'new hospital'?

I have it saved on my laptop. I'll post a link to it later.

NHS

Johnson, as part of his red meat come back is putting pressure on NHS chiefs to deliver what the chiefs see as impossible.p to deliver.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 21-Jan-22 08:42:55

Tory chief whip has paused the Animal Welfare bill because some areas are considered too woke.

What on earth is the matter with these people.

Live animal transport?

Puppy farming?

Just get it done!

It’s certainly no crime to look at your watch. But he did it in a smirking and mocking fashion while Ian Blackford was speaking. I’m no fan of Blackford but I think Johnson’s behaviour showed him to be an uncouth oaf.

I think it was Blackford too, who stopped speaking to request that the PM put his phone down.

Patels policy of shipping asylum seekers to Ghana has been told in no uncertain terms to bugger off by the Ghana’s President.

How embarrassing.

Oh god, that was all over Twitter last night, what a humiliation.

TopsyIrene06 Wed 19-Jan-22 13:26:59

Blackford talks about the people who have lost their lives and our PM looks bored, checks his watch and pulls a face. How anyone thinks this person is a suitable for office is beyond me.

MP’s from all parties tend to have mutual respect for each other. Tony Benn told me he and Thatcher had a mutual respect. If I was a betting person I’d bet that no one in parliament has any respect for Johnson, even those that pretend they do. What is there to respect?

Did anyone see Boris looking at his watch? ?

I don’t think looking at your watch is a crime and to be honest Ian Blackford was not saying anything new
I don’t think they are the arch enemies they appear at PMQs

Yes, during his smirking episode while Ian Blackford was speaking.

Christian Wakeford (Bury) has defected to Labour. Says the Conservatives are doing nothing to help the people of his constituency!

I admire him greatly in taking this step for his constituents. He said the Tories were doing nothing for his constituents. At last, an MP with integrity. Apparently he has just crossed the floor of the H of C. I’d like to see more Tory MPs grow some backbone.

Grannynannywanny Wed 19-Jan-22 12:28:29

Johnson will regret smirking and mocking Ian Blackford while he was speaking. There will be screenshots of his smirking face on all the news outlets later showing his appalling attitude.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 19-Jan-22 12:25:13

Johnson’s behaviour at PMQs is disgraceful.

Listen to them all on politics live, it's like a bear garden. How shameful !

It is. John Bercow would have had them sorted them out ?

I do wonder about all those people who go swimming in the sea though- are they safe?

No they aren’t, how can they be?
