Its terribly naïve to think that just because you didn't see Putin on your Facebook timeline that there was no Russian impact on the way the Brexit vote turned out. Not being on any social media isn't an excuse either, because some of the material that landed on my doormat from a variety of different "Vote Leave" organisations was clearly lying about the EU and its future direction of travel, as has now been proved post-referendum.

All of us, one way or another, are influenced by a biased press and an environment where foreign governments could easily sway the voting intentions of the electorate by spreading misinformation. Anyone who says they weren't affected and made their minds up solely on the truthful evidence that they were presented with, is fooling themselves. That's not how it works any more.

I know 100% as pre the referendum I was not on any social media platforms.

Well Putin certainly didn't swing it for me. I wasn't even aware of him on Facebook. I made my decision by weighing up the pro's and cons and voting accordingly.

It was Vladimir Putin's colossal onslaught on Facebook on the day before the EU referendum that swung it for Vote Leave.

Boris Johnson owes everything to Putin.

The megabucks donations to the Tory party from Putin's friends in London are just the icing on the cake.

Sorry I cant find the link I read.When I do I will post it .BUT ,the Russian woman in his "secret millionaire cabinet " and the Russian in the Lords ,who BOTH still have Russian passports , proof of funding the tories and strong links to Putin ....that doesn't bother anyone? Just me then .

The UK has sold arms to Russia in the past, but it looks as though the practice was halted about 8 years ago.

In the murky world of arms dealing there's no guarantee that they haven't bought British arms since then using a third party as an intermediary. But I can't find any suggestion that this has happened.

We are, though, not particularly discriminatory about who we sell arms to. It's one of our big foreign earners...

It is also public knowledge the UK supplied Russia with arms before the Crimean invasion ,I'll look for the link and post it .Mr Putin is not the enemy ,he's sitting in Downing St acting the clown ,selling us down the river...but thats what Tories do!
