People committed suicide, imprisoned, lost their own money, lost homes and jobs all because the powers that be could not admit there was something wrong with their computer system . They were accused of stealing thousands of £s, told lies that it wasn’t happening anywhere else, now it’s come into the open - why is no one in the P.O. facing criminal charges? And why have the victims not been given adequate compensation?

And why are the 555 who brought the original action getting less compensation than others?

Darren Jones MP, chair of the BEIS committee, said: “It is clearly entirely unacceptable that the group of 555 victims who first brought this scandal successfully to court are being left in a worse position that those who are being compensated thanks to their action.
