Plans to limit MPs earnings from second jobs dropped

Of course a war is a great time to push things like this through when everybody is concentrating on the plight of the Ukrainians.

What a surprise! They obviously can’t afford to live on the pittance they ‘earn’.

The register of MPs’ interests shows that more than 90 out of 360 Tories have extra jobs on top of their work in parliament, compared with three from Labour. They are overwhelmingly older and 86% are men. The highest earners were all former cabinet ministers.

Another good election banner for Labour, as it’s slipping under the radar at the moment. They will have a field day.
