An older woman on the news tonight in Ukraine said she would kill Putin if she saw him. And an older man who said he would strangle him with his bare hands.

They weren't being melodramatic, I'm sure they'd do it.

Lasia Vasilenko, who was only in the UK for two days as part of a delegation of female parliamentarians out-shone the rest of the Question Time panel. She was amazingly articulate, passionate yet measured.

Why do Ukrainian politicians often seem to be so much better than ours>
