The paperwork involved In all the refugee issues is purposely incredibly difficult. I personally know a family in the process of hosting/rescuing a Ukraine family. Both husband and wife have very good careers and are tech savvy and they have struggled with it.
This government claims they want to help, but they don’t.

The shambles that is supposed to be government is an utter disgrace.
I can only see greed and self interest in their policies, (in) actions and values. They do not appear to care about anyone beyond their own set.

Fuel poverty used to be spending over 10% of your income on fuel. How is it calculated now? I would have thought most single people who are on an average or low salary or a pension will be in fuel poverty now. I will be paying over 15% of my income in fuel after April.
