We are told, repeatedly by Tory talking heads on news programmes, that the Tories are the party of fiscal responsibility, so how does this tie in with:
Loss of in excess of £8bn in fraudulent claims for covid support loans, some of the claimants were not even listed at Companies House, how difficult is it to get a keen young intern to process the applications into potentially viable/do not appear on register.
Billions spent on dodgy contracts to provide PPE, some overpriced, some unfit for purpose, when many of the existing providers were turned down when they offered to increase their production.
Economically illiterate statements such as a 'penny off income tax in 2024' when even the most dim must realise it is wiped out by the stagnated personal allowances
This is a purely financial list, and does not even begin to cover things such as the unicorn hospitals, the magic teachers who will suddenly and with less resources, bring every pupil up to standard levels, the punishment of those who are just about managing, and of those who certainly are not, the demonisation of and downright cruelty shown to migrants...........
