The opposite is true monarchy gives the government PM too much power. All the queen does is what the PM asks her remember prorogued parliament? With a monarchy it's like having a football match with no referee nonchecks and balances on government

I think this whole "Royalty" business is old-fashioned and out of date. Time we got rid of the lot of them.

So the whole see through dress stunt at college ( like his mothers see through dress photo op) wasn't really meant to get his attention..it was purely coincidence....as my granny would have said".And the band played believe it ..if you like "It was part of her or her mothers master plan,that was the whole reason she changed her uni to St Andrews.

It's time to reassess the money paid to Charles & Elizabeth for their personal use (currently over £20 million to Charles, over £22 million to Elizabeth). If they can pay for a fourth mansion for William, then they're being paid too much.

For her, it will be all comfort, as at home, straight onto the plane, plenty of room, refreshments as and when and what she wants. Even space to rest up and change clothes, probably even shower, etc. etc.

Then as plane lands, she will be taken off it, no passport controls, suitcase collection points, etc.

You have to admire Princess Anne’s stamina, a three day visit to Australia which started with an engagement almost immediately after her arrival. Aged 71. I’ve got family there, and when I’ve been to visit the jet lag knocks me out for the first two days.

I presume she was invited as representative of their Head of State. People at the Agricultural Show look happy to see her and she'll be very knowledgable about the livestock there, a welcome visitor I should think.
Thank goodness some things are beginning to get back to normal there despite the very strict mandates.
