What is really, really scary is what would have happened if we found out what they were up to at the time?
It would have been impossible to impose any Covid precautions at all.
It was so incredibly irresponsible.
Such contempt for the public.
Good God, I loathe that man

My MIl died the month of her Birthday, locked down in her nursing home. No visitors at all.

But knowing what was happening in No.10 would Not have made any difference at all to what we would have done about visiting her.
It wasn’t safe to go in (not they would have let us in anyway) and we stayed at home for our protection.

If idiots were flouting the rules, well more fool them

We did what we did to stay safe and it worked!

Not at all like my lockdown. On my birthday my son sat in the garden with me. Not allowed inside.
Otherwise I was on my own only seeing people via Zoom but I was well off compared to what some people suffered.
I do feel angry about how this government treated us all.
