Interview reported Boris actually said he'd "stuffed up"
the most ONLY honest comment he's made...
Believe he needs to get back to UK and unstuff things!

Some of his MPs must be feeling scared for their seats after the byelection results but they are too spineless to get rid of him. Alas, he has left Rwanda and is about to channel Churchill at the G7 in a luxury resort in the Black Forest. If only he could be offered a better paid job somewhere else...Fox News maybe.

It’s as if the Tory Party is immobilised where Johnson is concerned. They have this delusional, immoral idiot who they allow to go on spouting a never ending series of lies and still they can only make pathetic efforts to remove him. Insufficient numbers voted against him in the No Confidence vote so what does that say about them as a whole? The by-election results say it all and that is “time to get rid”. Well are the men in grey suits going to visit? If they do are they going to be shown the door? Are we going to see Johnson dragged out of Downing Street still clutching remnants of gold wall paper? Perhaps they really can’t find a successor and if that is the case what does it say about the Tory Party itself. We are all fed up. Let’s get someone honourable and intelligent to take his place and if they can’t call a general election.

This quote has been going through my mind for months now

"Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?"
a quote attributed to Henry II of England preceding the death of Thomas Becket, the Archbishop of Canterbury, in 1170.

Aren't we now in that position with Johnson?

Can anyone suggest a modern version of this quote?

He wanted someone else to pay for a £150,000 tree house - yet expects everyone else etc leave within their means and not expect a pay rise. That’s delusional.

He’s like a boil that needs lancing before it becomes an abscess.

Johnson not only wants to lead the Tories to the next election, he's thinking about leading them for a third term.

He has also said he has no intention of changing his behaviour.

Senior Tories are calling him "delusional".?

It really makes me wonder just what has to happen to get him out? He’s beyond delusional, he seems to think he’s untouchable too. I can’t imagine how big his ego must be ??

I wish boring boris would just get stuffed!
I used to like him, thought he'd do ok. Well, bang went that thought, in a big way!!
He's an over-stuffed, egotistical, unkempt mess of an excuse, and he really needs to go away and take his lies with him.

Deedaa Sat 25-Jun-22 19:02:57

Apparently Boris was saying that he and Prince Charles had a "Jolly good chinwag" What century is he in? Nobody's had a bloody chinwag since the 1940s! Even Charles must wonder what he's listening to.

It’s not what Boris thinks that matters, he can waffle all he wants, his own MPs that matter, because if a 24000 majority can be overturned nobody is safe, not even him!.

He was interviewed this morning by Michal Hussein on the Today programme 8.10 slot which ran on longer than usually allowed. He harrumphed and huffed and answered every question with how well he has done which included Getting Brexit done, which of course is unfinished business.
He has not been interviewed by bbc in years, think he refuses.

[growstuff] Sky interview ..he admitted he's "stuffed up"

growstuff Sat 25-Jun-22 17:17:52

I'm confused.

I haven't seen any interview with Johnson, but the Guardian is reporting:

Johnson, asked by reporters if questions over his leadership were settled, said: “Yes.” He then added: “What’s driving people nuts is this endless churn of stuff about things that I’m meant to have stuffed up or whatever about my colleagues, their view of me, my character, the leadership, Tory blah blah.”

In other words, he's denying that he "stuffed up".

Bea65 Sat 25-Jun-22 17:07:54

[Witzend] agree..

Witzend Sat 25-Jun-22 16:52:58

More a case of Boris Is Stuffed, I should have thought.

Johnson is not actually admitting that he has stuffed things up just that voters are tired of hearing about it.
Once again the government is telling us what our priorities are. We are being brainwashed and we should take note of how many times it is happening.
Anyone remember Obi - Wan Kenobi saying these are not the droids you are looking for.?
I see that he has brought support for Ukraine into his reason for staying. At last, he has latched onto something he can’t be criticised for. We will be hearing a lot about that.

I thought his dose of covid had taught him the error of his ways regarding being overweight?

I guess that subsidised menu in the house of commons is just too tempting.

Bea65 Sat 25-Jun-22 14:30:11

[Riverwalk] ooh thats harsh..wink

Riverwalk Sat 25-Jun-22 14:20:53

Never mind his bugle I think he's been stuffing his face - looks fatter and jowlier than ever.

ayse Sat 25-Jun-22 14:15:33

Can't we do a deal with Rwanda?

They keep Johnson, his wife and most of the cabinet, and we keep the migrants?

It'll be cheaper and less aggravation...?

??????

Bea65 Sat 25-Jun-22 14:12:17

[MissAdventure] what's a bugle..a euphemism for ??[JaneJudge] well we won't see him for months thengrin

Callistemon21 Sat 25-Jun-22 13:43:41
